At 341 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 18 miles southeast of Franklin, or near Cashiers, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Cashiers, Jocassee Gorges, Lake Jocassee, Devils Fork State Park, Gorges State Park, Keowee Toxaway State Park, Highlands, Lake Keowee, Bad Creek, and Whiteside Mountain.
