Description:
* WHAT...Heat index values up to 108 expected for the rest of this
afternoon, and then again Thursday afternoon.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast North Carolina and northeast South
Carolina.
* WHEN...The current Heat Advisory will expire at 8 PM EDT this
evening. The next Heat Advisory will go into effect from 11 AM to 8
PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.
Instruction:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
