Description:
At 727 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northwest of
Hoffman, or 12 miles northeast of Rockingham, moving southeast at 15
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Rockingham, Hamlet, Hoffman, Pinebluff, Ellerbe, Foxfire, Dobbins
Heights, Derby, Sandhills Game Land, and Camp Mackall.
This includes Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 26 and 34.
