Graham County in western North Carolina... * Until 745 PM EDT. * At 653 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles west of Bryson City, or near Smoky Mountains-Fontana Area, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines. * Locations impacted include... Franklin, Bryson City, Robbinsville, Cherokee, Dillsboro, Town Of Santeetlah, Smoky Mountains-Newfound Gap, Smoky Mountains-Fontana Area, Lake Santeetlah, and Fontana Lake.
