* At 544 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles west of Taylorsville to 4 miles east of
Lenoir, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines.

Hickory, Statesville, Lenoir, Newton, Taylorsville, St. Stephens,
Conover, Bethlehem, Hudson, and Stony Point.
