* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Anson, Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Johnston, Lee, Montgomery, Moore, Richmond, Sampson, Scotland, Stanly, Wayne and Wilson. * WHEN...Through Friday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Waves of showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain will focus along a slow-moving cold front and produce 2 to 4 inches of rain, with locally higher amounts, overnight through Friday morning. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
