Description:
At 100 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Harrells to near Rowan.
Movement was northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Wallace, Rose Hill, Harrells, Magnolia, and Teachey.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM EDT for eastern North
Carolina.
