Description:
At 834 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles northwest of Huntersville, or near Ramsey Creek Park, moving
southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Westport, Denver, Ramsey Creek
Park, Lake Norman, and Lowesville.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
