Description:
At 517 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southwest of Uptown Charlotte, or over Southwest Charlotte,
moving south at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Central Charlotte, Southwest Charlotte, Southpark Mall, The
Arboretum, South Charlotte, Carowinds, Freedom Park, Pineville, and
Charlotte Douglas Airport.
