Description:
At 247 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northwest of Kannapolis, or 4 miles northwest of Enochville,
moving southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Kannapolis, Mooresville, China Grove, Landis, Enochville, Coddle
Creek Reservoir, and Mount Ulla.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
