At 514 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Manteo, or 7 miles southwest of Kill Devil Hills, moving southeast at
10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Manteo and Roanoke Island Festival Park.
Instruction:
