At 813 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Folkstone, or near North Topsail Beach, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
North Topsail Beach, Dixon, Folkstone, Sneads Ferry, Sea View Pier,
and Holly Ridge.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
