Description:
At 753 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northwest of Hendersonville, or near Mills River, moving south
at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Arden, Mills River, Fletcher, Mountain Home, Asheville Airport, B.R.
Parkway-Mount Pisgah To The Arboretum, Avery Creek, Forge Mountain,
and Horse Shoe.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
