Description:
At 1104 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
St. Pauls, or 14 miles south of Fayetteville, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
St. Pauls, Tobermory, White Oak, Jerome, Duart, and Ammon.
This includes Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 31
and 38.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM EDT for
southeastern North Carolina.
