Description: 
At 817 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 12 miles northwest of Kannapolis to 3 miles northwest of Downtown Concord to 5 miles east of Uptown Charlotte. Movement was southeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Kannapolis, Downtown Concord, Salisbury, West Concord, Mooresville, Mint Hill, Harrisburg, China Grove, Landis, and Enochville.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for the Piedmont of North Carolina.
