Description: 
At 548 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Bunn to Zebulon to near Clayton to 6 miles southeast of Benson to 12 miles southeast of Dunn. These storms were nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Smithfield, Louisburg, Garner, Clayton, Zebulon, Benson, Bailey, Bunn, Knightdale, and Micro. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 105 and 79. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 305 and 339. Interstate 540 between Mile Markers 21 and 24. NC Highway 264 between Mile Markers 20 and 34.
