At 418 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms extending from near Huntsville to 7 miles north of Lexington to near High Point. Movement was northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Lexington, Thomasville, Kernersville, Clemmons, Bermuda Run, Huntsville, and Lewisville. This includes the following highways... Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 33 and 35, and between Mile Markers 97 and 122. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 182 and 223. Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 94 and 103. Interstate 74 between Mile Markers 56 and 77.
