Description:
At 351 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Wakulla, or near Red Springs, moving northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Red Springs, Wakulla, Rex, Shannon, Parkton, and Lumber Bridge.
This includes Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 37
and 38.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
