Description:
At 456 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Rockwell to Mt Pleasant to near Downtown
Concord. Movement was east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Albemarle, Badin Lake, Plyler, Badin, Richfield, New London,
Eldorado, Fish Tales Marina, Morrow Mountain State Park, and Finger.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
