Description:
At 1256 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Wadesboro, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Rockingham, Wadesboro, Ansonville, Polkton, Norwood, Mount Gilead,
Ellerbe, Candor, Lilesville, and Morven.
This includes Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 26 and 45.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
