* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is ongoing. * WHERE...A portion of eastern North Carolina, including the following county, Dare. * WHEN...Until 245 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 933 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported that portions of NC12 remain underwater this morning with Dare County Communications center reporting 4-5" across the roadway near Pea Island. Overflowing poor drainage areas have already caused minor flooding in the advisory area. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... the vicinity of Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
