* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southeastern Brunswick County in southeastern North Carolina... Central New Hanover County in southeastern North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 415 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 213 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Wilmington, Carolina Beach, Wrightsville Beach, Kure Beach, Snows Cut, South Masonboro Island, North Masonboro Island, Boiling Spring Lakes, Mill Creek, Sea Breeze, Silver Lake, Myrtle Grove, Masonboro, Brunswick County Community College Main Campus, Seagate and Bolivia. - weather.gov/safety/flood
