* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of eastern North Carolina, including the following counties, Beaufort, Hyde and Tyrrell. * WHEN...Until noon EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 858 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Fairfield, Swindell Fork, Gull Rock, Scranton, Ponzer, New Holland, Rose Bay, Nebraska, Leechville, Lake Landing, Lake Mattamuskeet and Swan Quarter Ferry Terminal. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
