West Central Swain County in western North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 1045 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 637 AM EDT, Heavy rain will overspread the advised area this morning with as much as 2 to 3 inches of rain accumulating. River and streamlevels throughout the Cheoah and Lower Little Tennessee basins will rise. Watch for developing flooding of low-lying areas along Tapoco Road and around Fontana. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
