Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the
following county, Wake.
* WHEN...Until 715 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
River and stream flows are elevated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 618 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated high water in some
areas due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing in the
advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are
expected over the area. This additional rain will result in a
continuation of minor flooding. Rivers and streams will
continue to run high.

Raleigh, Cary, Wake Forest, Garner, RDU International, Apex,
Holly Springs, Morrisville, Knightdale, William B Umstead
State Park, Lake Wheeler, Lake Benson, Research Triangle,
Carpenter, Falls Lake, New Hill, Purnell and Jordan Lake.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
