Description: 
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Anson, Hoke, Moore, Richmond and Scotland. * WHEN...Until 400 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 240 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding, especially across Anson and Richmond Counties where a Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 5 AM EDT. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Laurinburg, Southern Pines, Rockingham, Wadesboro, Raeford, Pinehurst, Hamlet, Aberdeen, Ansonville, Hoffman, Antioch, Polkton, Whispering Pines, Pinebluff, Ellerbe, Foxfire, Dobbins Heights, Wagram, Taylortown and Vass. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
