* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Alamance, Davidson, Forsyth, Guilford and Randolph. * WHEN...Until 945 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 632 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Burlington, Randleman, Thomasville, McLeansville, Elon, Archdale, Trinity, Gibsonville, Pleasant Garden, Jamestown, Randleman Regional Reservior Marina, Climax, Forest Oaks, Oak Hollow Marina, Lake Guilford Mackintosh Marina and Lake Mackintosh Marina. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
