Description: 
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of Chatham, Durham, Orange and Wake counties. * WHEN...Until 1015 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 711 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Carrboro, RDU International, Apex, Morrisville, Parkwood, Bethesda, Research Triangle, Carpenter, Gorman, William B Umstead State Park, Jordan Lake, Eno River State Park, Rollingview Marina, Falls Lake, Falls Lake State Rec Area and Fearrington.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
