Description: 
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of Johnston and Wake counties. * WHEN...Until 1000 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 657 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms back-building over the urban area. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen in eastern Wake. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Wake Forest, Garner, Clayton, Zebulon, RDU International, Morrisville, Knightdale, Wendell, Rolesville, Falls Lake Boat Ramp, William B Umstead State Park, Flowers, Falls Lake, Emit, Research Triangle, Carpenter and Jordan Lake.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
