Northeastern Beaufort County in eastern North Carolina... * Until 1130 PM EDT. * At 1059 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Terra Ceia, or 13 miles northeast of River Road, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near... Belhaven around 1105 PM EDT. Ponzer and Leechville around 1115 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Sydney Crossroads and Pantego.
