Description:
At 418 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Crab Island,
moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Emergency management. At 415 PM EDT Quarter size hail was
observed at the Bluff Point Golf Course.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to trees and powerlines.

Plattsburgh International Airport, South Hero, Georgia, Plattsburgh,
Grand Isle, Georgia Center, Milton, St. Albans Town, Fairfax, Peru,
Young Island, Wilcox Point, Burton Island State Park, Sand Bar State
Park, East Georgia, Kellogg Island, Grand Isle State Park, Jackson
Point, Lazy Lady Island, and Hoyt Point.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Boaters on Lake Champlain should seek safe harbor now! Strong winds
will cause higher waves and sudden wind shifts may overturn boats.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
