Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of northern New York, including the following
counties, Essex and Vermont, including the following counties,
Addison, Rutland, Windsor, and Orange.
* WHEN...Through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Up to 2 inches or rainfall have already fallen Tuesday
through Wednesday morning in portions of Vermont. An
additional 1-3 inches of rain is expected through Thursday
morning in south central Vermont along with the eastern
slopes of the Adirondacks in Essex County NY. Locally higher
amounts will be possible along the spine of the southern
Green Mountains.
