* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of southeast New York, including the following areas, Northern Nassau, Northwest Suffolk, Southern Nassau and Southwest Suffolk. * WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A slow moving low pressure system is bringing periods of heavy showers and thunderstorms to the area this morning.
