* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Portions of east central and eastern New York, including the following counties, in east central New York, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren and Washington. In eastern New York, Fulton and Montgomery. * WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 757 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicates that between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen in the warned area. Flooding is ongoing. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Saratoga Springs, Amsterdam, Glens Falls, Hudson Falls, Mechanicville, Salem, Glenville, Milton, Ballston Spa, Fort Edward, Corinth, Grafton, Cambridge, Greenwich, Broadalbin, Hagaman, Edinburg, Northville, Round Lake and Fort Johnson. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
