* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of east central New York, including the following counties, Columbia, Greene and Ulster. * WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations remains ongoing. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 721 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicates that between 5 and 9 inches of rain has fallen in the warned area. Flooding is ongoing and expected to continue into tonight. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area through tonight. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hudson, Catskill, Saugerties, New Baltimore, Coxsackie, Athens, Saugerties South, Cairo, Veteran, Stuyvesant, Germantown, Centerville, Leeds, Jefferson Heights, Cauterskill, South Cairo, Cairo Junction, Hamburg Light, Limestreet and Kiskatom. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
