The National Weather Service in Albany has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central Albany County in east central New York...
Southeastern Schenectady County in east central New York...
* Until 900 AM EDT.
* At 555 AM EDT, Road closures have been reported by Albany County
911 call center in New Scotland and Voorheesville. Between 2 and 4
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1
inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already
occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Albany, Schenectady, Rotterdam, Scotia, Delmar, Guilderland,
Niskayuna, Duanesburg, Voorheesville, Altamont, East Glenville,
Alplaus, Feura Bush, New Scotland, Princetown, Fullers,
Guilderland Center, Parkers Corners, Fort Hunter and Dunnsville.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
