At 1154 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers near
Amsterdam, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Clifton Park, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, East
Greenbush, Cohoes, Watervliet, Rensselaer, Colonie, Scotia,
Mechanicville, Latham, Delmar, Guilderland, Glenville, Niskayuna,
Duanesburg, and Menands.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 88 between exits 24 and 25.
Interstate 890 between exits 1a and 9.
The Adirondack Northway between Western Ave and exit 10,
The New York State Thruway between exits 23 and 26.
Interstate 787 between exits 1 and 9.
