* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast New York, including the following county, Putnam. * WHEN...Until 345 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1143 AM EDT, a National Weather Service meteorologist reported flooding around Brookside Drive in Continental Village from Canopus Creek. - Additional showers and thunderstorms into this afternoon have the potential to prolong the flooding within the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
