* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast New York, including the following county, Rockland. * WHEN...Until 200 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1011 AM EDT, gauge reports indicated rapid rises with the Hackensack River at West Nyack from the earlier heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Rapid river rises will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. - Around 6.5 feet with Hackensack River at West Nyack, road along retention pond south of Route 59 begins to flood. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
