* WHAT...Minor flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast New York, including the following
county, Nassau.
* WHEN...Until 115 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1117 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Levittown, Freeport, Plainview, Garden City, Massapequa,
Syosset, Mineola, Westbury, Farmingdale, Oyster Bay, Jones
Beach, Hempstead, Hicksville, Baldwin, Wantagh, Port
Washington, Woodbury, Manhasset, Brookville and Lido Beach.
