Description:
At 513 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles north of
Abbott, or 17 miles northeast of Springer, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of Southeastern Colfax County.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
Accumulations of small hail on roads can create very slick and
hazardous driving conditions.
