Description:
At 548 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles southwest
of Ancho, or 16 miles north of Carrizozo, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Carrizozo, White Oaks, Ancho and Jicarilla.
This includes Highway 380 between Mile Markers 47 and 67.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce
visibility below one quarter mile at times.
