Description:
At 146 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
New Laguna, or 5 miles southwest of Laguna Pueblo, moving southeast
at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Laguna Pueblo, Mesita, New Laguna and Paraje.
This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 108 and 124.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
