Description:
At 257 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles northeast of Omega, or 33 miles northwest of Datil, moving
northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of North Central Catron and Southwestern Cibola
Counties.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
