Description:
At 222 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles west of Capulin, or 15 miles west of Des Moines, moving
southeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Capulin.
This includes Highway 64 between Mile Markers 369 and 378.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
