Description: 
At 519 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13 miles northeast of Maes, or 16 miles southeast of Wagon Mound, moving south at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of Southeastern Mora, West Central Harding and Northeastern San Miguel Counties.

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
