Description:
At 409 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles north of Roswell, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Roswell and Bitter Lake Wildlife Refuge.
This includes the following highways...
Highway 380 between Mile Markers 156 and 168. Highway 285 between
Mile Markers 103 and 120.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
