Description: 
At 1231 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms over Montezuma, or 6 miles northwest of Las Vegas, moving southeast at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Las Vegas, Montezuma, Storrie Lake State Park, El Porvenir, Sapello, Gallinas, Mineral Hill and Ojitos Frios. This includes the following highways... State Road 518 between Mile Markers 1 and 12. Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 345 and 355.
Instruction: 
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
