Description:
At 833 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from near White Oaks to 17 miles northwest of
Bingham, moving south at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Carrizozo, Bingham, White Oaks, Jicarilla and Oscuro.
This includes Highway 380 between Mile Markers 10 and 72.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce
visibility below one mile at times.
