Description:
* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Eastern Sandoval County in north central New Mexico...
* WHEN...Until 600 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 259 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding.
Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Canon Cercado, Jemez River, Guadalupe, Rio, Vallecito Creek, Into
Guadalupe, Rio and Into Vallecito Creek. Additional rainfall
amounts up to 0.25 inches are expected over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Instruction:
In hilly or mountainous terrain there are numerous low water
crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not
attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
